Background
Calreticulin, a Ca2+ chaperone, is an abundant highly conserved calcium binding protein found in the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum of eukaryotic cells. This lumen protein can be used to measure the intactness of membrane preparations. It is used as a marker for subcellular fractionation of cells.
Source
Sheep were immunized with a recombinant protein derived from the carboxy terminus of the calreticulin protein fused to KLH.
Product
Product Form: Unconjugated
