Serum

Serum is the liquid fraction of whole blood that remains after clotting. This liquid portion is separated from the coagulated cells and clotting factors by centrifugation. It contains a mixture of proteins including antibodies (immunoglobulins), serum albumin, alpha and beta globulins and regulatory proteins such as hormones and enzymes.

Our range of sera and milk sourced from human, primate and veterinary species can be used in multiple applications; to study the normal protein composition of serum or milk, as a reference protein, blocking agent or negative control.
